Your Role and Responsibilities
 Program Manager – Securityenablement program (MEA)
The Program Manager of the MEA Securityenablement program is responsible for all the elements of enablement for IBMSecurity in MEA for IBMer, Business Partners and Customers across SecurityServices and Solutions.
The elements involved include: planning and budgeting, speaker sourcing, logistical arrangements such as venue, catering,travel. Workshop hosting and management, delegate management. Reporting and ROImeasurement. Compliance and CTEBA management.

The Security Enablement program is a keyfunction in the Security business in MEA and ensures that the IBM team,Business partners and Customers are fully aware and up to date on IBMsolutions, services and the latest developments relating to the Securityportfolio.

The Program Manager works closely with the World Wide enablement and Offering management teams, MEA Leadership and localSMEs and key Business Partners to understand their goals, strategies and needsto be able to “translate” this info into an enablement program designed toincrease the skills and knowledge of IBMers, BPs and Customers.

This position requires knowledge of the Techindustry, IBM and IBM strategy, IBM Cloud and Cognitive strategy and IBMSecurity strategy and tactics.

Understanding and being able to navigate withinthe world of IBM is an essential part of this position. A thoroughunderstanding of IBM Compliance processes and tools, Event management tools,Procurement tools and Learning platforms are essential.

An understanding of the countries and culturesthat make up MEA and the unique challenges that each country has not onlyrelating to the political, social, economic and cultural matters but also tothe Tech industry, IBM and IBM Security.

A deep understanding of event planning andmanagement is core to the success of the position with the ability toseamlessly move from “big picture” thinking to focusing on the small details.

Candidates must be able to balance “Innovation”with “Tried and tested” to not lose sight of what the “client” needs and beconstantly on the lookout for different ways to enable his/her client base. Theability to work with and communicate effectively with many different languages,cultures and backgrounds over multiple time zones is key.

• 5+ years of multi-regionalenablement program management
• 3+ years in IBM with demonstrable skills in navigating successfully in IBM
• Experience in working with BusinessPartners
• Experience in working with Technicalusers of solutions
• Program and Event management skills
• High levels of cultural awareness
• Understanding of the IBM, IBM Cloudand IBM Security Strategy and the implications of this on the current skillsand knowledge of IBMers and BPs.
• An understanding of the MEA Skillsshortage situation and the implications to IBM Security.
• Readiness to travel extensively inMEA
• Fluent in English (Written andVerbal)
