Draft CSOS’s budget in a format prescribed by National Treasury and divide into a capital and an operating budget
In drafting the budget, reflect of realistically, anticipated revenues by major revenue sources for the year concerned
Support the financial reporting process
In preparing financial reports, comply with relevant templates, in line with the legislative frameworks
Review the general ledger (Maintain accounting systems for the organisation)
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial management reports
Prepare annual financial statements
Prepare ENE report
Prepare quarterly reports on National Treasury template
Prepare annual financial statements on National Treasury template
Provide input and assist in the preparation of the organisation’s annual report
Submit financial management reports, budget performance reports, and any other information as may be prescribed from time to time. (i.e., monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.), to the National Treasury, and Auditor General.
Prepare for the AG audit process
Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in a Finance-related field (NQF Level 7)
3–5 years relevant experience in Finance
Good knowledge of Generally Recognised Accounting Practice (GRAP) and other financial and accounting principles
Understanding of relevant legislation, including PFMA and Treasury Regulations
