Senior Administrator - Security Static Data at Apex Group

Description

• The Senior Administrator – Security Static Data will be responsible for the input, update and verification of all daily instrument static data into the current investment systems accurately and on time.
• Job specification

The main responsibilities of the role will be to:

• Create and maintain instrument static data as required on the Apex investment systems.
• On a daily basis, verify that all data is accurate.
• Align static data across the various Apex systems and to external sources daily.
• Ensure all queries are identified and actioned timeously, per SLA’s with clients.
• Update process documentation and assist in training for new staff joining the team.
• Assist Team Leaders and Specialists with ad hoc projects as the need arises.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal clients.
• Stand in as a back-up for colleagues.

Skills Required:

The successful candidate will have:

• A related degree or diploma.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have security static data experience or at least 3 years Asset Management experience and an understanding of Financial Markets
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to contribute to the overall team deliverables.
• Good communication skills.
• Innovator and self-starter with high energy and drive.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Reporting structure

• The Senior Administrator Security Static Data will report to the Manager – Security Static Data.
