Senior Artisan Mechanic (1 X Bredasdorp) (1 X Caledon) at Overberg District Municipality

Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanic
• 3-5 years’ post apprenticeship experience required.
• Additional experience in auto-electric, hydraulics, air brake systems and maintenance of earth moving machines will be an advantage.
• Valid Code EC driver’s licence.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Perform high level complex activities within the trade. Works independently and could supervise staff.
• Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape.
• The competency level for this position is a level 3 as stipulated in Annexure A of the Municipal Staff Regulations Government Notice No. 890 as
• promulgated in Government Gazette 45181 dated 20 September 2021 and comprises of the following competencies.
