Overview of the Role

Works autonomously and acts as a senior providing professional advice, managing and/or coordinating the work of others. Maintains the status of projects and monitors the activities of team members, leading Quality Engineering projects using available test frameworks and tools and establishing project plans with on-time and on-budget project goals.

Responsibilities

• Quickly absorb new information and apply it when analysing data for decision making
• Gather information to better understand issues, problems, and opportunities
• Analyse information from a variety of sources to detect trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships
• Recommend the most effective course of action after evaluating options against decision criteria
• Manage own delivery against agreed delivery plan and set timelines, identify obstacles to delivery and take appropriate action where required
• Quickly absorb new information and apply it when providing services to customers
• Clarify the nature of customer needs and then attempt to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Handle upset customers by hearing them out, empathizing, apologizing, and taking responsibility for resolving the issues
• Clearly communicate instructions and information to customers
• Approach change positively and adjust
  quickly when faced with changes in work responsibilities, processes, or environment
• Manage one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on schedule despite distractions or other obstacles
• Handle stress appropriately and maintain effective performance when facing pressure or opposition
• Persist in achieving goals when faced with obstacles by doubling efforts or trying multiple strategies
• Take responsibility for own work by developing tracking matrix to ensure that work is delivered in line with agreed timelines

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Business Analysis Diploma
• SQL

Skills and Experince

• Has 5 years or more Business Analysis Experience in Software development
• Experience in Capital Markets / Investments though
• Strong financial markets experience
• Good experience in dealing with large data and data models
• Have worked in Agile environment
• Excellent communicator – written/verbal
