Senior Client Care Manager at Santam Insurance

This exciting opportunity exists for an individual to join the leadership team of Client Care based in Cape Town. You will be responsible for support management with the required technical skills and knowledge on a senior level. The role further requires the incumbent to manage the team performance, discussions and managing the unit and planning result areas. Managing escalations which the team cannot handle or requires guidance and to provide input or proposals to strategy where required.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Law degree and short term insurance knowledge.
• Minimum 6 years’ related working experience, coupled with 5 years insurance and claims experience (claims and technical).
• Minimum of 5 years working with team/s and maintaining sound business acumen.
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both orally and verbally
• In depth knowledge of drafting and reviewing policy contracts in relation to its application and administration.
• Understanding of technical and operational requirements of a business.
• Knowledge of principles of legal interpretation
• Knowledge of the various processes
• Insurance process knowledge
• Insurance product knowledge
