    Senior Consultant - Business Process Solutions (BPS) - Tax and Legal (Midrand)

    Job Description

    To support a Director with the start up of the BPS business line in South Africa in Tax & Legal delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project.  To promote our leadership capabilities which are living our purpose, influence, performance drive, strategic direction and talent development.

    • Finance & Accounting - Drives targeted and sustainable finance and accounting solutions that reduce compliance risk, overcome operational inefficiencies, and reinforce business intelligence. 
    • Payroll - Guides teams through the design and implementation of payroll solutions that increase compliance and optimize organizational efficiency.
    • Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving - Enables fact-based decision-making by using appropriate research techniques and analytical skills. 
    • Delivery Excellence - Demonstrates subject matter specialty and ability to share knowledge in one or more service lines within the Global Business Process Solutions function. 
    • Laws and Rules - Applies knowledge of current and proposed/pending legislation, their implications, and understands interaction across the Global Business Process Solutions function, specifically with their area of expertise.
    • Project Management - Ability to pull multiple teams together to deliver end to end finance outsourcing solutions to clients and global teams in accordance with the deadline.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
    • Completed articles
    • At least five years working experience
    • At least 3 years’ in a professional services Firm in a client facing role.

    Additional Information

    • Sound industry and business knowledge
    •  Ability to manage and execute on tasks provided by the Head of the PCoE
    • Experienced in development and delivery of professional presentations
    • Good report writing skills 
    • Fair financial knowledge
    • Knowledge of financial and commercial modelling would be advantageous
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential as this position will assist in developing practical, profitable pricing strategies and models
    • Must have the ability to set priorities, manage a diversity of job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, and work within deadlines. 
    • Ability to look beyond the short term and demonstrate the viability of long-term strategies  
    • Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skills sets including a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic 
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities
