    Executive Account Manager - Public Sector South Africa

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Drives, manages and executes the business and revenue of the public sector
    • Build strategic relationships at National, Municipal & Provincial clinical & non-clinical stakeholders
    • Is the sector expert in market dynamics that influence our business opportunities to maximize GEHC successes and drive profitable growth.
    • Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing in the public sector.
    • Deep knowledge & understanding of the provincial procurement process & ability to forecast timelines tender & other commercial opportunities in this sector.
    • Develop & maintain relationships with public sector government stakeholders e.g. Provincial MECs, HODs and other senior government & hospital administrators  
    • Supports with sharing intelligence to enable the commercial team develop quote, proposals & tender submission to increase the LCTs win-rate.
    • Leads the development strategically for the direct team & partners to build solutions that enable GEHC to win in the public sector.
    • Compliantly work with public sector stakeholders to proactively carry out equipment gap analysis and develop fair specifications for public tenders.

    Required Experience

    • Demonstrated success in selling  to public sector customers 15+ years + in MEDtech industry with focus on public sector in the South Africa
    • Proven track record of consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives.
    • Skilled at delivering  high quality service to customers
    • Experience in business-to-business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach, and will have strong demonstrated partnering and closing skills
    • Must have expertise around  procurement and the various buying vehicles to enable growth in sales via our distribution partners in the public sector.
    • Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems: SFDC knowledge is desired

    Ultrasound and X-Ray Field Engineer -Multi-modality

    Job Description

    Essential responsibilities:

    • Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated equipment.
    • Daily interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to primary customers. Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
    • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
    • Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.
    • Identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team and assists in the growth and direction of business in his/her geographic area
    • Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost effective service delivery to all accounts with assigned area.
    • Responsible for Warranty and PMS contract cost control. Administration: Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time. Ensures timely completion of FMIs and PMS inspections documentation for assigned accounts.
    • Teach and assist other Field Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes, plays a leading role on complex and multifunctional system fixes.
    •  Installation: Plays a leading role in complex and multifuntional rooms.
    • Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.

    Requirements / Qualifications:

    • Qualified to National Diploma or B-Tech Degree level or equivalent.
    • Technical analytical skills 2+ years Field Services experience. 
    • Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality or multi-modalities. 
    • Sought by others for guidance and advice. 
    • Proficiency in English. 
    • Ability to work independently with minimum direction.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Accountable for all segments’ aggregate Orders, Sales, SM, OM forecast & performance both direct and indirect, price/margin portfolio governance & performance, inventory management as well as market visibility & win rate and market share performance across the zone.
    • Responsible for ULS strategy development for the zone, BPR development and execution of business priorities.
    • Build business growth opportunities that introduce new products / business model offerings, new channels and utilize new platforms that promote contemporary enhanced customer engagement (Social media, e-commerce etc)
    • Regionalize ULS products’ positioning within EAGM, by executing price strategy in accordance with Segment profitability strategy in International.
