This role of Senior Developer requires a mature individual who is able to gather requirements and implement design patterns to produce quality, clean code and be able to troubleshoot and fix issues.

The ideal candidate should be able to proactively share knowledge with stakeholders and take advantage of opportunities to provide technical help with the view to up-skill other team members.

Responsibilities

• Determine and identify high-level functional and technical requirements.

• Interact with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction.

• Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.

• Develop and implement moderate to complex web applications on one or more platforms.

Requirements

• Three-year IT or relevant qualification OR a minimum of eight years’ experience in a senior software development role.

• Ability to understand complex code.

• Understanding and staying abreast of software development methodologies and best practices.
