Senior Electronic Engineer at Epiroc

Mission of the Role:

• Join us a Senior Electronic Engineer. You will play a key role in leading the design and development of advanced electronic systems and embedded solutions, ensuring innovation, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• This role involves hands-on development, managing requirements, driving system integration, and supporting product lifecycle activities. The engineer will also champion safety and drive continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Your Mission:

• Lead and design and develop advanced electronic systems and embedded applications.
• Define and address board and system requirements, including interfaces, noise mitigation, and power distribution.
• Implement and integrate hardware, firmware, and software components.
• Conduct testing, verification, and safety analysis, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Provide technical expertise and support to production and client teams.
• Perform component and product qualification for extreme environments.
• Ensure manufacturing and safety standards are met throughout development and production.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and methodologies

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or related technical field.
• 3- 5 years of experience in firmware, hardware, or software design
• Proven ability to solve complex engineering challenges
• Strong technical proficiency in electronic and embedded system design
• Innovative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing technical projects
• Exposure to safety-critical systems and compliance standards is advantageous
