Senior Finance Manager : Financial Reporting , Tax & Treasury - Durban at SoluGrowth Pty Ltd

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting

• Overall responsible of the group consolidation including setting accounting policies.
• Review of monthly management accounts, budget variance analysis and annual financial statements.
• Ensure the accurate and timeous reporting of information within group reporting deadlines.
• Analyze the income statement, with specific focus on the balance sheet tprovide explanations on variances including assessing the accuracy & completeness of reported figures and key metrics /ratios.
• Monitor the integrity of the financial information including chart of accounts within the various applications Pastel, Caseware tensure compliance with IFRS for SME’s reporting standards and business operational needs.
• Analyze the balance sheet including the reconciliations at an account level for cash, fixed assets, provisions, trade receivables and trade payables ensuring all transactions are accounted for.

Treasury

• Review of company cashflow forecasts & statements and ensure efficient cash planning.
• Understanding and planning cash needs for the business trends and analysis on cash , debt and all capital commitments
• Review all finance interest charges within the group and externally levied costs.
• FEC management and all foreign exchange control approvals from SARB including processes
• Management of daily transactional needs with bankers including general administration.
• Assessing all relevant covenants with financiers and managing the asset finance life cycle for all funded moveable assets.
• Ensuring all treasury related compliance for any international business is in place

Taxation & VAT

• Review of tax computation and submission of tax & VAT returns.
• Liaising with SARS and attending tqueries for audits including the IT14SD completion.
• Review of reconciliations & submission of VAT returns.
• Managing and preparing payments for all tax types and reconciliation thereof.
• External audit Review of the audit file and project management of the audit.
• Working closely with auditors providing feedback and information during this process and closing out together with the Head of Finance
• Overall responsibility for the FSP audit on all financial services entities
• Statutory Stats SA quarterly and yearly financial submissions.
• Annual returns & XBRL files tCIPC & management general finance compliance administrative tasks
• Support the Head of finance in implementing & maintaining financial controls and processes within the Group including special projects.

Insurance Reporting for FSCA

• FSCA quarterly reporting

Special entities

• ensuring all the trial balances are completed and processed together with tax , statutory and IFRS compliance.
• Managing and executing shareholder requests together with the Head of Finance and Corporate Governance Director
• Support tthe Group Finance Director and Head of Finance in executing the Group Strategy
• Be the custodian of all automated processes within finance and work closely with the Finance Manager on shared services on implementing the appropriate level of internal controls.
