Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Relx

You will join a supportive, collaborative team that is working on modernizing a cloud hosted application and your contributions as a Software Engineer will be to support the development of new features as well as enhancing the existing features.  

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building web applications. 
• Strong understanding and ability to apply Object-Oriented concepts 
• Knowledge and experience in Java, Angular, and Angular.js  
• Strong Understanding of Spring, Hibernate, REST, and Java ecosystems-related technologies 
• Knowledge of databases and the ability to write SQL queries. 
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies  
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Strong knowledge and experience in front end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Angular.js, Angular, ReactJS and/or another modern front-end framework 
• Experience building complex enterprise level integrations with vendor management systems, ERP, CRM, and eSignature services 
• Consistent use of good coding standards, and a drive to improve personal and team code quality 
• Experience in driving process and delivery improvements 
• Experience in engaging with product managers and wider stakeholders to ensure developing things of value for customers and business 
• Strong self-starter with a creative problem-solving attitude.
