A relevant 3-year Tertiary qualification within the GeoInformation field;
Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in a cadastral and sectional title environment;
Proven proficiency of Geographical Information Systems (ArcGIS) and MS Office;
Knowledge of SAP (Land Use Management Systems would be advantageous);
Good communication and analytical skills; and
A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
Key Performance Areas
Perform GIS operations on a variety of system applications;
Capture edit and maintain datasets in a versioned Geodatabase;
Provide data analysis in order to check, validate and manipulate data to achieve consistency and accuracy;
Prepare and produce spatial reports and maps on request;
Adhere to the operations of the branch pertaining to operational targets, staff performance, productivity, development and training;
Provide a Technical Support Service by conducting research to keep abreast on the latest GIS trends and technology, and contribute to the formulation for the divisions’ performance targets.
