    Senior HR Specialist

    We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to join our HR Team for South Africa. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will manage HR projects & processes for our sites Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein (235 employees).

    This includes the monthly payroll process as well as coordinating all other HR processes (i.e., talent reviews, CAR), Division Lead HR projects (i.e., Caring for our Culture work, talent initiatives).

    You will be responsible for the overall coordination of the HR Activities within the department.

    Key Activities In This Role

    • You will be responsible to lead an effective Induction and Onboarding Program for new employees and well as the administration of new joiners: preparation of Contracts/Offer Letters and employment package including benefits
    • Manage employee recognition projects such as Long Service Awards.
    • Co-ordinate employee communications and country team meetings and minute important meetings, type up plans and communicate with direct reportsAssist with the preparation of documents and presentations for HR related training courses.
    • Schedule recruitment interviews for managers and HR Business Partner and participate in the interview process as the HR lead for junior positions.
    • Schedule the bi-annual talent reviews and participate in selected teams’ reviews.
    • Represent the company in employee litigation matters as appropriate in less complex cases.
    • You will be responsable for the maintenance of the HR system to ensure we maintain 100% data integrity.
    • Provide information and copies of contracts as required for various audit purposes and represent HR in audits.
    • Assist Management by generating required personnel reports/statistics.
    • Maintenance of holiday / sickness records through AXIA.
    • Maintain records of Hep B vaccinations including the issuing of reminders when the vaccinations require updating
    • Project co-ordination
    • General day-to-day administration such as maintenance of organization charts and employee files. The Co-ordination of temporary staff for all departments, ensuring correct documentation is completed and cleared through the appropriate channels.

    What you would need ?

    • A National Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or related qualification
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, preferrably in a multinational company
    • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in creating reports, assessing, manipulating and presenting data in various usable formats is essential
    • Experience using Workday would be advantageous
    • Proven ability to drive execution while always meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to produce quality work while, prioritizing multiple simultaneous deliverables and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
    • Project management experience preferred , BEE , WSP and other statutry requirements for will be advantageous.
