Senior IT Asset and Finance Analyst at Datacentrix

• Managed Talent Solution, a business unit within Datacentrix is looking for an experienced Senior IT Asset and Finance Analyst to join our client’s team on a 6-month contract based in Tshwane, Gauteng. You must have experience with IT asset management software and tools, IT budget planning, financial analysis, and automation technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric and Diploma/Degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
• Certification in IT Asset Management (Advantageous)
• 3+ years experience with IT budget planning and financial analysis.
• 3+ years experience  in stock control and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies.
• Experience with IT asset management software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Add new assets on asset management platforms

• Align the financial asset register with DTA/ Motadata asset records (Capture fin asset number in IT asset records; provide detailed description where needed to finance team to update the financial asset register).
• Disposal of assets. Approval process and arrangements with Finance to remove from asset register; updating records.
• Facilitate of employee purchases of old hardware. Request invoice and ensure agreement is signed, payments are made, and all documentation is in order.
• Manage the physical asset verification process and assist with the administration behind this.
• Analysis and support of lifecycle management.
• Consumption and compliance support for software asset management.

Stock management

• Identify, coordinate and assist with improvements and automation to support administration of assets.
• Identify, coordinate and assist with improvements and automation in our service desk platform for service catalogue items.
• Asset lifecycle management – Software asset management as well as hardware asset management.
• ISO27001 certification readiness. Support gap analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Support the budgeting process
• Create templates.
• Gather base data from team.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support the IT budget process.
• Create and maintain process documentation and supporting d
