Senior Journey Concierge at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Curate tailored journeys across Southern Africa that are thoughtful, seamless and personal to each guest.
• Build and maintain deep knowledge of our destinations, properties, experiences and partners.
• Work closely with internal teams and trusted partners to deliver the experience promised to every guest.
• Collaborate closely with preferred partners to ensure they reflect the standards and experience expected from Belmond.
• Identify opportunities to enhance journeys while supporting commercial objectives
• Ensure guest preferences, requirements and operational information are communicated accurately and on time.
• Take ownership of issues as they arise and work collaboratively to achieve effective resolutions.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support, helping the team prioritise effectively and deliver consistently high standards.
• Manage quotations, reservations and travel arrangements accurately and efficiently.
• Support conversion of enquiries through timely follow-up and strong relationship management.
• Maintain an understanding of rates, availability and commercial considerations to support sound decision-making.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Significant experience in luxury travel, destination management, hospitality, safari operations or a related guest-focused environment.
• Proven experience designing and managing complex, tailor-made itineraries for discerning travellers.
• Strong knowledge of Southern Africa's destinations, lodges, experiences, logistics and travel networks.
• A genuine passion for travel and creating meaningful experiences.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative and reservation management capabilities
