Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management X2 at Vaal University of Technology

Key performance areas include but are not limited to:

• Developed learning material;
• Lecture Logistics and Supply Chain Management related subjects;
• Prepare learner guides and assessments;
• Liaise with industry, professional bodies, and other educational institutions;
• Supervise postgraduate students
• Participate in community projects
• Assist with the registration of students;
• Contribute to the management of the department;
• Undertake research, constitution, and community engagement duties;
• Attend departmental and faculty meetings
• Manage personal, departmental and academic administration.
• Undertake departmental delegations and act on behalf of the Head of the Department. 

APPLICATION CRITERIA:

Qualifications and Experience:

• An appropriate doctoral (senior lecturer) or masters (lecturer) degree in a Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management- related field or evidence of significant progress towards achieving an advanced supply chain management qualification.
• Minimum of five (senior lecturer) or two (lecturer) years of teaching/lecturing or industry-related experience is required.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
• Evidence of research publications and academic conference papers would be an added advantage.
• Previous exposure to the development of short learning and executive development programs is an added advantage.
