    Senior Manager, Communication and Stakeholder Management

    Introduction

    • Position: Senior Manager, Communication and Stakeholder Management Position/Task Grade: EEE-BAND Department: Industry Support and Stakeholder Management Business Unit: Head Office Area of specialization: Reporting to the General Manager Strategic Marketing, the Senior Manager Communication and Stakeholder Management, will be responsible to lead and direct the execution of the communication and stakeholder management portfolio in the division to ensure the organisation is appropriately positioned with all the stakeholders and is seen in a positive light.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Formulate and manage the implementation of the stakeholder management strategic direction and position the division.
    • Manage the implementation of appropriate and effective communication and public affairs programmes and activities.
    • Manage and optimise the department infrastructure and resources.
    • Manage media relations.
    • Position strategically the Chief Executive Officer and divisional Executive Committee (EXCO) members.

    Minimum requirements
    Qualification(s):

    • B Degree in Public Relations/ Public Administration/ Communication/ Marketing at NQF 7 level with 360 credits  
    • B Tech in Public Relations/ Public Administration/ Communication/ Marketing at NQF 7 level with 360 credits or
    • Advanced Diploma in Public Relations/ Public Administration/ Communication/ Marketing at NQF 7 level with 360 credits.

    Experience:

    •  10 Years’ proven experience in a communication stakeholder relationship management environment at management level in a large organisation.
