As a Delivery Lead (Program/Project Manager) in Deloitte’s Digital Engineering business, you will own the end-to-end execution of high-impact engagements, ensuring elite delivery quality while actively expanding commercial value through client farming, cross-sell, and up-sell motions. You are equally fluent in execution, client engagement, value realization, and trusted advisory. Key responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of high-impact projects across a range of disciplines, including AI & Data, Cloud Migration and Transformation, and bespoke Software Development.
Operate as the single point of delivery accountability for multi-million-rand client engagements.
Facilitate agile methodologies (eg. Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient project delivery and continuous improvement
Work closely with technical- and analytical leads, own delivery, managing project scope, budget, and timelines
Maintain clear communication and manage stakeholder expectations, facilitating communication sessions and relationships, throughout the project lifecycle
Support and enable high-performing teams.
Proactively monitor and facilitate the resolution of project risks, dependencies, and issues.
Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan and project governance arrangements
Drive delivery rigor, governance, quality assurance, and operational excellence in accordance with tier-1 consulting standards.
Translate client objectives into structured delivery roadmaps and ensure measurable outcomes are achieved.
Build deep and trusted relationships with client stakeholders
Identify unmet needs, strategic adjacencies, and whitespace opportunities within existing accounts.
Support cross-sell and up-sell motions in collaboration with sales and solution leads, expanding engagement from core delivery into advisory and managed services.
Serve as mentor and escalation point for delivery managers, architects, and consultants on high-stakes projects.
Ensure tight interlock between delivery, sales, and operationalization teams to drive unified client value.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, (post graduate degree preferred) (e.g. BBusSci, Bcom Information Systems/Informatics, BCom Bus Mngt in Project Management, PMI/Prince2 Certification, PMBOK, Agile / Scrum Certification)
