Senior Microsoft Business Central Consultant at Salt South Africa

Key Experience & Skills Required:

• Business Central Expertise: Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application within an ERP environment.
• Client-Facing Consultation: Experience leading high-level discussions with senior clients, providing tailored solutions, conducting workshops, and managing expectations. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
• Business Analysis & Documentation: Proven ability to analyse complex business processes, document requirements, and design solutions that meet client needs.
• Project Management & Scope Control: Ability to manage project deliverables, timelines, and scope changes effectively.
• Technical Aptitude: A natural inclination toward technical problem-solving, including systems implementation, data migration (master data and financial balances), and ERP system integrations using API technology.
• Communication & Training: Capable of explaining complex technical solutions in simple terms. Experience conducting product demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and delivering training to clients.
• Customer Relationship Management: Proven experience in managing client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term partnerships.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in financial systems like Sage, SAP, Xero, or similar.
• Experience working with established multinational consulting firms.
• Project management experience and formal qualifications in IT, Accounting, or Marketing.
• SQL or other database knowledge.
