    Senior Officer: Business Process Design (BPD) and Systems

    Description

    Process Evaluation and Improvement

    • Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
    • Design and develop business processes and systems in alignment with Services SETA’s objectives and mandate
    • Implement strategies for ongoing monitoring and improvement of processes and systems, ensuring they align with Services SETA's evolving needs
    • Ensures compliance with all local regulatory and statutory requirements

    Systems Integration and Management

    • Integrate and coordinate technology systems to simplify workflows and improve overall business operations
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on business processes
    • Manage projects related to process improvement and system implementation
    • Integrate Services SETA’s policies, procedures, and standards into relevant business processes
    • Oversee quality management systems, assurance, and certification processes, including ISO standards
    • Focus on improving workflow management to sustain operational efficiency
    • Develop and implement training programs in business process management and workflow, ensuring staff proficiency and alignment with Services SETA's operational goals

    Achievement of Work Plans

    • Execute work plans and drive the evidence collection in real time
    • Produce reports against the implementation of work plans
    • Respond to audit findings with complete evidence, on time
    • Implement documented data management practices
    • Comply to policies and procedures in the unit
    • Record, file and ensure the availability POP information

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate, at a minimum NQF 4
    • National Diploma or equivalent certification (NQF 6) in Business Management, Information Systems, or relevant fields is required
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business process management experience, of which 1 year should be supervisory experience
    • Certification in Business Process Management (BPM), or a similar relevant certification, with proficiency in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) would be regarded as advantageous
    • Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly those related to quality management systems
