Senior Practitioner: Beneficiary Services at The Department of Employment and Labour

REQUIREMENTS: A Three-year tertiary qualification in Public Administration/ Public Management or Public Sector Management or Administration. Two (2) years’ functional experience.

Knowledge:  Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Unemployment Insurance Act (UIA), Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act (UICA), Treasury Regulations, Operations system, Batho Pele Principles.

Skills: Interpersonal, Presentation, Listening, Communication (verbal and written), Computer Literacy.

DUTIES: Verify claims on Operation System. Authorize payments to qualifying UI beneficiaries. Verify the adjudicate claims. Supervise resources (Human, Finance, Equipment/Assets) in the section.
