A relevant B Tech or First Degree (Botany, Nature Conservation or Ecological Restoration and Management or similar)
5 - 8 years relevant experience with 2 years of direct Dune Project Management experience
Experience in Coastal Ecology and/ or restoration critical
A valid Code B driver’s licence
Computer literacy: MS Office

Design, oversee and implement a consolidated coastal ecosystem strategy with a core focus on an integrated and holistic dune and sand management plan for the City of Cape Town’s coastline in order to strengthen coastal resilience, protect biodiversity, and support sustainable beachfront use through integrated dune and sand management.
Project manage all relevant projects, manage budgets allocated to this specific area of work, appoint and manage consultants and contracted services where appropriate and needed, ensure efficient and effective service delivery of the highest standard
