Are you a seasoned Project Finance Analyst with a passion for impactful infrastructure? I’m working with a specialist investment and advisory firm that plays a critical role in advancing large-scale public and community infrastructure projects across South Africa.
The team is looking to appoint a Senior Analyst with 7–10 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure advisory, or development finance, to support complex transactions and contribute to the structuring and execution of long-term, high-impact deals.
What You'll Be Involved In:
Develop and maintain complex project finance models across sectors such as transport, energy, housing, and public infrastructure
Support financial structuring for public-private partnerships (PPPs), blended finance initiatives, and multi-party funded projects
Conduct risk analysis, scenario modelling, and project feasibility assessments
Assist in preparing investment committee packs, transaction proposals, and due diligence materials
Coordinate with legal, technical, and public-sector stakeholders to manage deal execution timelines
Track project performance and support reporting to funders and development finance institutions
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related (Honours or CFA/CA(SA)/MBA advantageous)
7–10 years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure advisory, or development finance (public or private sector)
Strong financial modelling skills in Excel; experience with complex deal structures and multiple funding sources
Exposure to PPPs, DFIs, and infrastructure development frameworks in South Africa
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
