Senior Project Manager at Hubble Studios

Role 

As a Senior Project Manager at Hubble Studios, your main role will be to ensure project objectives in the entire production office are met, by supporting the team in planning, implementing and monitoring the project deliverables.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide overall leadership in the project office
• Lead and project manage large, multi-stream, 18+ months projects
• Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team
• Champion the project management function at Hubble Studios
• Improve the approach to the full life cycle of projects
• Responsible for maintaining and contributing to Project Management office processes
• Responsible and accountable for ensuring stakeholder’s expectations are met
• Responsible for managing and controlling the approved project scope and budget
• Accountable for ensuring quality checks are happening
• Identify issues and risks in a timely manner and develop/implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans

Our ideal candidate has the following skills/experience

• A formal qualification in Project Management such as Prince 2 or AGILE SCRUM/KANBAN or CAPM
• Degree in commercial, science or engineering field
• More than 5 years’ experience in leading large projects, portfolios of projects, and teams of at least 30 people preferably in the tech sector
• High-level competency in project management frameworks, tools & methodologies
• Strong IT & presentation skills
• Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of three years of management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers
• Experienced in the use of collaborative tools with ensure alignment within large teams
