About the role:

• Capitec is establishing a Centre of Excellence to provide governance, controls, and supplemental skills for our product teams.
• We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our cross-functional team dedicated to the full software development lifecycle.
• You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software systems and applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and future requirements.
• You will also guide and support developers and stakeholders in scoping, progress, status, and resolution of engineering problems.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Grade 12 or Equivalent
• Undergraduate Degree (Preferred)
• Relevant Salesforce Certifications
• At least 6 + years of experience in developing Salesforce solutions
• 6+ years’ proven experience in both front- and back-end software development, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language). Experience with modern front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies
• Experience with Omni Script, Apex, Flow, or Lightning Web Components
• Salesforce Financial Service Cloud or Services Cloud
