Relevant B degree, BTech, Advanced Diplomas and Post Graduate Certificate (commerce/legal/ finance/accounting/auditing/supply chain management/built environment/engineering/information technology or other relevant to operations/directorate business area) equivalent
to NQF level 7
Minimum five (5) years’ relevant experience
Two (2) years’ supervisory experience
Experience of IT procurement in the public sector will be advantageous
Understanding of the SCM legislative framework
Strong writing skills
A valid Code EB driver’s licence

Manage the procurement of goods and services within the section through implementing and monitoring adherence to procedures and systems applied in support of managerial transactional information and activities

Control and coordinate the processes and activities for the monitoring and action of internal controls, risk aversion and audit matters

Advise on the legal and compliance requirements to line departments and stakeholders with regard to the implementation of SCM policy and procedures
