Senior Software Developer: DAC_DMS at SAAB Grintek

Your role

• This position requires a person that can overlap between Embedded and PC software
• Provide input into Software Development Planning
• Participate in Software Requirements Analysis and deriving of lower level sub-system requirements
• Software Development according to Military and Avionics standards
• Participate in system integration and test activities to achieve a system qualification
• Create and maintain documentation for Design, Planning, Requirements, Specifications Test and Results (full software life cycle)
• A successful applicant will employ the concepts of Object Orientated Programming (OOP) when working developing PC software
• Follow Software Configuration and DevOps processes as required.
• Follow coding standards as required.
• Participate in code reviews, static code analysis

Required skills:

• Specific experience in Programming language: C and C++, Java, C#
• Comprehensive knowledge of the system engineering process.
• Generating and compiling of specifications, user manuals and test procedures
• Electronic Warfare knowledge and experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge in User Interface Design and Database Management

Desired skills:

• 5-10 Years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering R&D and product development environment
• 5-10 Years’ experience in requirements management , issue tracking, delivery and testing
• Knowledge in Relational Database design and SQL
• Experience in the automated build and test environments would be an advantage
• Experience with Linux environments would be an advantage
• Experience with Python scripting language would be an advantag
