Provide expert advice and guidance on various HR matters to the HR team and line managers.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and ensure that the company's HR policies are being applied consistently and fairly across the organization.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and make recommendations for resolution.
Manage and oversee the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, conducting interviews, and providing advice to line managers.
Provide guidance and support to line managers on employee development and career progression.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure that HR processes are documented and up to date.
Partner with the managers to support business deliverables.
Support managers with staffing.
Support the HR Manager in delivering HR projects and initiatives eg:- WSP/ATR etc.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: -
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
SAP experience advantageous
Experience in a Union based environment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR role preferably Manufacturing Environment
Understanding of BCEA, LRA, EE
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
