KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation
• To design products/components and or make improvements/changes to existing products/ components in line with market requirements and trends.
• To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects
• To ensure products comply to standard requirements
• Conduct laboratory experiments, testing prototypes, and collecting data to evaluate product performance.
• Keeping abreast of the latest scientific advancements and industry regulations.
• Working with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.
• Studying market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify potential areas for innovation.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree - Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field
• Experience in 2D & 3D drawing and modelling.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production or R&D based environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Product Development/Project Management experience would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of Sheet Metal Design Principles, Plastic & Electrical components would be advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Provide expert advice and guidance on various HR matters to the HR team and line managers.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and ensure that the company's HR policies are being applied consistently and fairly across the organization.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and make recommendations for resolution.
• Manage and oversee the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, conducting interviews, and providing advice to line managers.
• Provide guidance and support to line managers on employee development and career progression.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure that HR processes are documented and up to date.
• Partner with the managers to support business deliverables.
• Support managers with staffing.
• Support the HR Manager in delivering HR projects and initiatives eg:- WSP/ATR etc.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: -

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• SAP experience advantageous
• Experience in a Union based environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR role preferably Manufacturing Environment
• Understanding of BCEA, LRA, EE
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and HR software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning of material requirements for serial production,
• Coordinating of supply chain for serial production materials from local and foreign suppliers,
• Following inventory levels according to business targets,
• Managing material flow for daily & long-term purchase orders,
• Coordinating and following transport requirements of material shipments,
• Managing stock levels of critical components,
• Managing the obsolete materials,
• Developing strong relationships with suppliers and improve supplier capability,
• Making sure that the right materials are in stock in the required time frame

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's  /honours or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering 
• Having knowledge of SAP or ERP system is a plus
• Having knowledge of MS Office programs
