Senior Superintendent: Distribution (HV Maintenance) at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Heavy Current).
• Three to four years’ relevant experience.
• Must have own vehicle and a valid Code B driver's licence. A locomotion allowance will be paid in terms of the relevant policy.

Job purpose:

• Responsible for managing, supervising, co-ordinating and controlling the activities of the HV Substations Division relating to repair/maintenance and construction work to ensure that the reliability of the high voltage substation network and related switchgear are maintained for purposes of effective service delivery in accordance with statutory standards.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
