Job Purpose: 

• To render a solid waste removal service to ensure the effective and efficient removal of solid waste from facilities (litter picking, public toilets, street, refuse, medical). 

Key Performance Areas: 

• The Senior Team Leader must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council 
• Coordinate and supervise activities of a team 
• Coordinate and supervise utilisation, application and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools and materials. 
• Performs administrative and human resources related activities 
• Conduct planning, organising, leading and controlling of resources Performs driver activities using a vehicle or truck to ensure the transporting of machinery, equipment and workers to and from the workplace. 
• Implement waste minimization strategy (rural) 

Requirements: 

• Grade 12, C1 Driver’s license with PRDP and Two (02) years relevant experience.
