    Senior Trade Marketing Manager

    Purpose of the Position

    • Managing the development of, and ensuring execution against, the Trade Marketing Strategy to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories.

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    Trade Marketing

    • Develop Segment Channel Strategy for product communication in retail channels and point of sales
    • Manage the development and execution of brand experience throughout retail - Collaborate with sales teams to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools
    • Develop point of sales solutions to promote product features and specifications
    • Support local teams in the execution of the activities ensuring the desired product benefits and brand values/equity are properly communicated
    • Ensure alignment across the Sales and Marketing departments on field sales needs and marketing initiatives
    • Ensure that the local feedback is taken into account by regularly visiting sales teams, customers and stores
    • Ensure efficient spending of central budget and supervises the trade marketing spending in the countries

    Retail Display Guidelines

    • Develop and monitor the implementation of retail display and merchandising guidelines for all sales touch points – as per Trade Brand Bible
    • Continually monitor the implementation of the display and merchandising guidelines by all resellers /Agencies /Installers and take remedial action through appropriate structures where necessary
    • Provide input into cycle brief for sales operations specifically with regards to the adherence to the retail display and merchandising guidelines

    Stakeholder Relations

    • Provide specialised and technical trade and marketing support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives
    • Establish and monitor healthy, diverse internal and external relations and implement remedial actions where required, in the achievement of organisational goals

    Qualifications

    • Post Graduate degree in Marketing/Sales related field

    Experience

    • A minimum 8-10 years’ experience within a Marketing and Sales environment
    • A minimum of 4-5 year’s solid and proven experience in Consumer electronics, FMCG, Trade Marketing experience 
    • Sales experience will be an advantage
