Senior UI/UX Designer at Nebula

Job Opportunity at 1Nebula:  

The purpose of this position is to execute the vision of our stakeholders set together with the SaaS development team. 

As a Senior UI/UX designer is responsible for leading the design of exciting, useful platform-level products and user experiences. You will function as the bridge between the product management, design, and engineering teams. You will be required to understand the big picture, beyond the brief, take ownership and solve design challenges where they arise. 

You will solve problems based on research, data, and industry best practices with a strong focus on usability and industry standards. 

What You will do within this role (Your key responsibilities): 

• Craft thoughtful user experiences throughout the entire product suite 
• Identify opportunities for new features on Software products 
• Analyze how a new product/feature ties in with market needs and user preferences 
• Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners 
• Lead and develop user experience research plans to understand consumer and associate needs, opportunities, and pain points to continually inform an iterative design and discovery process 
• Improve the design of existing products 
• Gather feedback from product users 
• Guide and support fellow designers 
• Communicate solutions to stakeholders and executives in a manner that simplifies complexity and generates excitement

• Tertiary qualification in design and design principles 
• 3-4 years experience as a full-time designer. 
• Prior exposure to cloud technologies will be highly beneficial. 
• A variety of experience in design methods including but not limited to: User Mapping, Prototyping, Visual Design & wire-framing 
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
• Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills 
• Strong presentation skills 
• The ideal candidate must be a self-organized and driven individual who can deal with multiple ongoing projects at any point in time. 
• Must have a strong orientation towards continuous learning, and enjoy working within entrepreneurial environments
