Shipping Controller at Cummins Inc.

In this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways:

• Improve lead time to customers
• Ensure that SARS and Cummins Export controls are adhered to
• Reduction in Transport costs
• Streamline Cummins export transport and customs process
• Improve on freight recoveries and implement cost savings on outbound exports
• Transfer of critical skills amongst the Cummins team

To be successful in this role the candidate will need the following:

• Minimum 5 Years export experience in Air, Ocean and Road freight and dealing with customs related matters
• Must have a good understanding of Africa and countries within Africa import requirements
• Candidate must have a freight forwarding back ground
• Degree or diploma in the relevant field
