Site Manager at Sea Harvest Corporation (Pty) Ltd

PURPOSE

• To oversee the cold store operations and ensure the efficient day to day administrative, OHS and operational requirements of Viking Airport Depot

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Ensure the smooth operation of the Airport Depot Cold Stores via the Airport Depot’s Cold Store Supervisor.
• Managing the sites OHS requirements on a daily basis
• Overseeing all staff requirements in terms of OHS needs, time and attendance as well as training requirements
• Manage all HR matters associated with the above duties, in liaison with the Viking Fishing Division’s HR department

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Proactive, with strong managerial and administrative skills
• Strong operational OHS experience (Knowledge and experience)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Working knowledge of applicable labour laws and experience in applying these
• Facilities management experience, and strong communication skills
• Able and willing to work afterhours and weekends as and when required.
