The “Analyst” will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and automation of Gaming and Analysis Reports and dashboards, supporting Peermont’s strategic & operational objectives.
The role will work with a range of stakeholders across Peermont to ensure business requirements are fully understood and the data is presented to the business in a simple and engaging way, whilst making insightful recommendations.
Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and data manipulating techniques.
Strong expertise in PowerBi for data visualization and dashboard creation
Must be able to use SQL to query databases
Understanding of tabular/multidimensional cubes
Data analysis
Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner.
Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical analyses
Proven ability to work in a team-orientated environment.

Gaming Systems knowledge

Main Resposibilites
Collect, clean and pre-process data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros, to conduct in-depth data analyses to generate meaningful reports.
Develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards in Power BI to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and tailor data analyses to address specific needs.
Maintain and optimize data models in Power BI and Excel for maximum performance and efficiency.
Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within datasets.
Assist in the training and development of both Gaming and Marketing employees in conjunction with the Gaming and Marketing Management teams.
Stay abreast of developments in the Gaming industry and of various Games to provide ongoing analysis and opinions.
