What We’re Looking For:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll bring your extensive knowledge in building data warehouses and data lakes . Yo will also get solid experience on data modelling, and distributed system architecture to help build scalable, high-performance solutions. You’ll have the chance to work with a high-functioning fast-paced technical team while shaping the future of data engineering.
Key Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
Diploma, BSc or NQF7 level IT degree required
Experience working with T-SQL, ETL / ELT
Strong exposure to Data Warehousing as well as Data Lakes
Exposure to Python, Pandas, Numpy and PySPark is important
Agile methodology focusing on Sprints
AWS experience would be advantageous but would consider Azure as well.
