    Social Media / Digital Specialist

    SOCIAL MEDIA / DIGITAL SPECIALIST

    OBARO HEAD OFFICE

    (Ref.: 21/279)

     

    The successful candidate will report to the Group Marketing Communications Manager.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Creating relevant, consistent, purposeful and timely content for all social media / digital channels;

    • Develop, implement and manage social media / digital strategy – platforms, content, and community management;

    • Use social media insights and analytics to inform creative and cross functional team members to inform future briefs and content creation for key campaigns;

    • Actively report, track, measure and optimise performance of organic and paid social media content; and

    • Observe trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies in the social and digital marketing space – up to date of best practices / emerging trends.

     

    Skills, Qualifications and General Requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification with 2-3 years of experience in social media or digital;

    • Agency experience will be advantageous;

    • Experience in Facebook Blueprint, Business Suite and Ads Manager;

    • Experience in Social Media Marketing Tools;

    • Experience in SEO and Web Traffic Metrics;

    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English;

    • Excellent communication skills and good human relations; and

    • Valid driver's license with own transport and willing to travel.
