Job Description

The opening is for a good Java/J2EE developer with good working knowledge in J2EE Platform and should have prior experience in development activities.

Responsibilities

• Working in a very collaborative environment, participate in all stages of applications development process, including design, implementation, testing and production deployment
• Ability to solve problems. We expect you to be a solutions-oriented, out-of-the-box thinker who frequently comes up with new and innovative ways of doing things. People on agile teams work together to solve technical problems, handle issues, and interface with other teams.
• Good communication skills are a must! You are expected to effectively interact with both, technical and non-technical personnel. These skills should encompass all facets of communication, including both written and verbal contact.
• You are expected to be open-minded to working in different areas of your systems (front-end, backend, middle tier) as your teams work changes
• Versatility. As a member of an agile development teams you are expected to be multidisciplinary, that is, possess all the skills needed to deliver the business solution.
• Partner with Application support team if required in resolving the production issues

Requirements

Education

• B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications If Any: OCA, OCP

Experience Range

• 2 - 4 Years

Foundational Skill

• Java, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, WebSphere, MQ, Oracle 11g, React JS, Node JS and Apache Nifi
• Java/J2EE 6+. WebSphere/Weblogic, WebSphere MQ, ODM
• Knowledge of Java Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Log 4j
• Knowledge of JDBC, Oracle 11g+ or other relational DB
• Ability to use UML for creating Sequence Diagrams, Deployment Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Class diagrams etc… Using RAD and other tools
• Frontend Web Application development using HTML, JavaScript, AJAX , JSP, Struts, JSF, HTML 5/CSS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with distributed team including offshore

Desired skills:

• Data Analytical skills
• Develop Message Oriented applications using Spring, JMS, Websphere MQ
• Develop backend processing jobs using Spring Batch and Java programs
• IBM Websphere MQ 6+
• Develop Soap and RESTful webservices using JAXWS, JAXRS and Spring
