Software Generalist
Fusion Software is seeking an energetic and inspiring Software Generalist to join our Johannesburg team. We are looking for a dynamic individual to take responsibility, drive growth and assist Fusion Software, to successfully promote, install, implement and train our software products with our customers

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in a business-related discipline
• Minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 years of experience in project management within the IT Industry

Role Description:

• Identify and document Client’s business and technical requirements
• Prepare and deliver product and solution presentations that are to the relevant customers
• Ability to understand client processes and how these can be implemented within the solution  purchased
• Manage customer expectations
• Installation and implementation of software at client site and hosted environment
• Extensive attention to detail with specifics to system testing (Functionality, Logic and data    saving)
• Manage UAT and Go Live process
• Provide software training to clients
• Internally working with Sales and Development teams
• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of our competitor’s products and services
• Develop strong working relationships at all levels including senior management
• Be prepared to travel to different locations within the country, meet and engage with Fusion Software’s clients
• Writing reports for customers

Skills:

• A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, in a high pressurised environment
• Microsoft server/desktop and Microsoft SQL technical skills
• Software deployment and integration experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office – specifically MS Excel to manipulate data and extensive use of pivot tables
• Microsoft SQL Server – database schema and ability to write scripts to extract data
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Sound knowledge of accounting entries
• Own reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license
• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) an advantage
