    Solution Architect, Sales Support

    Role: Solution Architect/Response Manager

    • As a Solution Architect for EMEA, you will be a crucial member of our global Sales Support team, supporting our sales organization, with a focus on the Enterprise division.
    • The Solution Architect will support the development of complex solutions by using in-depth knowledge of custom deliveries including but not limited to analytical research methods such as Comparative, Correlational, Exploratory and Explanatory research. Your understanding will empower our Pre-Sales and Sales representatives to explore the client's needs and help develop their solutions. You will support by crafting solutions and responding to these complex business opportunities.
    • The Solution Architect is responsible for collaborating with several internal stakeholders such as the Enterprise, Account management, Media analyst and Pre-sales teams, to align on different elements and aspects of the processes. Identify and qualify custom services opportunities that are provided, in addition to Meltwater’s SaaS offerings, such as custom reporting and newsletters.
    • The Solution Architect will be responsible for creating and maintaining financial sustainability by assisting the organization in reducing churn, moving up-market, and improving operational and financial excellence.

    Responsibilities

    • Needs analysis, scoping, and consultation in bespoke/customized business opportunities
    • Preparing client-facing outputs such as reporting proposals, descriptions of offerings, as well as financial and profitability calculations
    • Providing technical information about Meltwater’s analytical capabilities
    • Liaising with various stakeholders to create and ensure the delivery of complex customized solutions
    • Overseeing the efficiency of workflows of existing Professional Deliveries solutions including assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have
    • Collaborate across different teams and stay up-to-date on industry changes, to maintain an edge in proposing best-in-class media insights reports and deliverables for clients
    • Optimizing and developing Meltwater’s Professional Deliveries solutions capabilities
    • Staying up to date with different research methodologies and analysis methods

    Requirements

    • 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
    • Must be a resident of South Africa
    • Comfortable with writing, communicating, completing proposals, and building relationships on a business level
    • Familiarity with different research methodologies and analysis methods
    • Experience in media analytic reporting and a good understanding of Meltwater products and bespoke offerings
    • Knowledge of SaaS-based media tech and platforms, and media measurement KPIs
    • Computational Thinking and Digital Literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Project management of various complex processes simultaneously.
    • Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative reporting
    • Strong business acumen
    • Ability to think critically
