Grade 12 Code 10 (C1) driver’s license with PDP. Certificate in operating a TLB Machine Excellent communication and supervisory skills. Excellent Skilful handling and operating of TLB Machine. Excellent knowledge of various hand tools and electrical equipment.
A hard working and selfdisciplined person. 02 to 03 years of relevant experience working in an electrical environment, within a Local Government Authority, operating a TLB machine.
DUTIES
Operating vehicle daily productively and ensuring that safety and traffic rules are followed.
Ensures and protects the vehicle and the work area with road signs for the safety of road users during the excavation process.
Operates the TLB for digging of trenches and general road excavations to ensure effective construction and maintenance of electrical related matters.
Cooperates fully and consultation with the supervisors of the section through receiving and dispatching of works orders to ensure productivity as a prime work purpose to fulfil the service delivery to the rate payers of the council. Responsible for the cleanliness, lubricating and works orders regarding all maintenance on vehicle
Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Supervisor from time to time.
