    Specialist: FAIS Learning Projects - Menlyn

    Description

    Maintain Competence Register for employee representatives

    • Maintain correct information on MSA/FSP 4.1 for employee representatives
    • Check that FSCA FAIS registration was done correctly 
    • Update representative profiles when required on MSA/FSP 4.1
    • Fix discrepancy issues between FSCA register and MSA/FSP 4.1
    • Record and update results on competence register

    Maintain Competence Register for KI

    • Check all registration documents to ensure they were completed correctly
    • Process payments for KI registrations
    • Analyse and evaluate DOFA Reports to determine fit and proper status
    • Draft development plans for non-fit and proper people
    • Monitor the development plans and request profile updates at the FSCA 
    • Update KI profiles on MSA/FSP 4.1
    • Remove KI's who are no longer in service at the FSCA. 
    • Compile  ManCo reports
    • Compile meeting notes and action agenda items
    • Keep the KI Database up to date and correct

    Co-ordinate and administrate learning interventions

    • Schedule learning interventions 7 days prior to commencement 
    • Create events on Signify and update the records 
    • Process invoices for the interventions on OnBase
    • Record attendance and load costs on Signify
    • Request monthly results from providers and update the system 
    • Check records for correctness

    Monitor supervision and provide FAIS support

    • Check that all documents are received and completed correctly.
    • Evaluate DOFA reports to ensure people are registered for the correct subcategories and that they are fit and proper
    • Evaluate DOFA reports to determine if an individual needs to be under supervision
    • Draft supervision agreements and development plans
    • Onboard employees on FSP 4.1/MSA
    • Attend to issues on DigiSus and rectify accordingly
    • Monitor supervision records on DigiSus 
    • Report status of supervision records for Manco
    • Remove people who have resigned from the FSCA register

    Administrate and co-ordinate Study Assistance Program

    • Review study assistance applications and provide feedback to applicants
    • Draft study agreements
    • Create events on Signify and load all records
    • Process invoices
    • Request progress reports from providers and update the system
    • Request results and update the system
    • Check the events loaded for correctness

    Load qualifications and process refunds

    • Check and load qualifications for representatives on Signify 
    • Monitor progress of qualifications and RE exams and initiate repayments 
    • Save deductions from payroll on the database as they are received
    • Review applications for refund and process payments
    • Load records on Signify and check for correctness

    Demonstrate TCF

    • Treat all clients fairly when scheduling and administrating learning events
    • Ensure that all clients are treated fairly when learning events are communicated

    Requirements

    FORMAL EDUCATION

    • Matric
    • Diploma in Management of Training

    EXPERIENCE 

    • 1 year - Administration 
    • 1 year - Training and co-ordination
