    Specialist Talent Acquisition (18 Months Fixed Term Contract) - South32, Johannesburg

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Provides expertise and advice to the business relating to proactive talent acquisition strategies;
    • Support South32 in the full end to end recruitment process;
    • Compile weekly and monthly Resourcing reports;
    • Review current recruitment practices and best practices to improvement recruitment at your sites;
    • Ensure recruitment processes are completed in a professional, structured, and consistent manner across the business and ensure they are compliant with regulatory and legal requirement;
    • Works in collaboration with and provides guidance to outsourced providers for South32;
    • Proactively seek out new and alternative channels to reach potential applicants;
    • Partnering with the designated operations to fill vacancies, by adhering to recruitment procedure, enforcing process, and ensuring compliance.

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition within a Mining environment;
    • Demonstrated experience in working on an Applicant Tracking System to fill vacancies;
    • Experience in end-to-end recruitment process (Conducting Competency based Interviewing, Prescreening, Sourcing cv’s on job boards) is essential;
    • Experience in SAP Success Factors would be advantageous;
    • Demonstrated experience in the use of professional networks and job boards;
    • Experience liaising with diverse and complex stakeholder groups at all levels of an organisation and working with 3rd party suppliers in support of strategic people initiatives.

    Qualifications for this role are:

    • Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Human Resources / Industrial Psychology or Equivalent.
