What You'll Bring:

• ER Intervention Development & Implementation
• Partners with ER COE to build strategies that will ensure a sound ER environment across GCCA 
• Recognizes and provides insights on ER barriers, risks and opportunities that may impact the business
• Leads and facilitates the implementation of ER programs
• Leads the implementation of best ER practices 
• Facilitates regular ER climate surveys to ensure proactive management of the ER function 
• Ensures effective and efficient implementation of processes to keep to the necessary time frames in how we manage ER cases  

Case Management

• Advises management and employees on ER processes
• Facilitate logistics around disciplinary, performance and grievance cases
• Educate line managers and all employees regarding ER Policies and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance with current and new legislation
• Preparation of case evidence and preparation for disciplinary processes at the CCMA

High Performance Culture Implementation:

• Drives organizational norms and values, and integrates the code of conduct into Employees ways of working 
• Integrates performance standards into business unit operations
• Works with internal stakeholders (surveillance, security and internal auditors) to identify risk areas and addresses these
• Provides motivation and leadership to promote positive working relationships
• Lead and oversees departmental communication ensuring employee and management interaction

Policies and Procedures

• Maintains and updates all ER policies and procedures, in line with best practice and legal requirements

Systems Management and Reporting

• Ensures effective tracking and reporting of all ER cases
• Maintains in country cases on Acuity ER system 
• Completes financial reports (budgets and forecasts)
• Compiles monthly Risk and Month end reports

ER Consultation

• Represents the company at external forums including the CCMA,  Labour Court etc
• Manage and deliver ER- related training
• Monitor developments within the labour relations field and advise on best labour relations practices
• Provide advice to HRBPs and line managers in respect of all employment law matters
• Provide employment law advice on operational transformation projects and draft necessary legal documentation to ensure legal compliance in process
• Drafting and reviewing of employment contracts and all other employment related documentation

Impact You'll Make:

• Bachelor's degree with equivalent employee relations experience
• Minimum 5 years employee relations experience with a reputable large knowledge management / product organization
• Strong emotional intelligence, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Superior English verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent MS Office and project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
