Exceed or achieve the site financial targets (Allowables, Productivity, Commercial Awareness)
Assist with the adherence and implementation of policies, procedures, statutory law and regulations (SHEQ, HR)
Implement a high standard on the site to meet and exceed client satisfaction (Project milestones & Specs, Culture, Quality, Professionalism)
Assist with planning and programming of the project by measuring & evaluating operational performance, processes and resources in order to enhance production (Subcontractors, Plant, Formwork, Labour, Strategic Materials)
Manage employees and site team (Motivate and Discipline)
Be effective in understanding & implementing problem solving decisions for the site.
Requirements
BSc Degree or relevant Qualification in Civil Engineering
Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP
Minimum 5 year contracting experience on construction sites
Excellent negotiating, problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrate detailed knowledge and expertise in relation to job.
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage complex contracts
Understanding of Labour and the effective management of people in a construction site environment.
Establish clear priorities, schedules activities to ensure optimum use of time and resources. Monitors performance against objectives.
Knowledgeable about financial and commercial matters, focuses on costs, profits, markets, new business opportunities
Demonstrate excellent Problem Solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrate self-confidence and assertiveness.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
