Superintendent: Parks And Open Spaces (Ref No: C-PSC-AHOT)
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors , National Certificate (NCV)
- Experience 5 - 8 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field Agriculture / Agro-Allied
JOB PURPOSE:
- Manages the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the maintenance of the Arboretum, nursery, irrigation, weed and pest control and tree maintenance for the Parks section to accomplish immediate, short- and long-term service delivery objectives.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma in Horticulture or related qualifications in facilities management
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Code B drivers’ license
- Supervisory skills
- Communication skills
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel)
- Ability to give attention to detail
- Fluent in at least two official languages of the Western Cape
- Knowledge of project management principles
EXPERIENCE:
- 5-8 years relevant experience
