Supervisor: Warehouse at Motus Aftermarket Parts

Job Description

• Mega Midas is searching for a Supervisor: Warehouse  to join the team at Polokwane. The purpose of this position is to oversee all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in receiving, storing, and shipping. 

Requirements:

• Matric 
• Diploma / Degree in Logistics, supply chain or related warehouse qualifications
• Legal Requirements (e.g. Driver’s License, etc.)
• 3 - 5 years Related experience in the warehouse supervisor/operations position in aftermarkets parts or similar industry

Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to:

Managing inventory levels, optimizing workflows,

• Accurate inventory records (minimized stockouts and overstock location). Regular cycle counts or wall to wall counts
• Maintain inventory accuracy rate (reduce stockout and complete all scheduled cycle counts
• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping
• Resolve inventory queries

Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement

• Reduced operational costs.
• Minimized errors in order processing and the number of customer complaints related to order inaccuracies.
• ensure timely delivery, optimized shipping routes

Leading a team of warehouse staff

• Training and coaching staff
• Promote positive work environment 
• Planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse

Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

• Compliance with safety regulations (Health and safety)
• Number of safety incidents/accidents – compliance with safety audits
• Compliance with BSOP’s
