    Support Engineer - Gqeberha

    Datacentrix Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth is looking for a support engineer with won car and drivers license to Provide cloud, infrastructure, datacenter, software, and end user computing support. 

    Operational Technical Support
    Assist with 1st and 2nd line support.
    Preventative maintenance (Patch management)
    Remediate issues identified.
    Technologies include (but not limited to)

    • Virtualisation: VMware & MS Hyper
    • Operating Systems: Microsoft
    • MS infrastructure: Active Director, Exchange, SQL, SCCM
    • Backups: Veeam, Backup Exec
    • Antivirus: Microsoft, Fortinet, Sophos, ESET       
    • End User computing
    • Storage area network
    • Networking

    Required Qualification - One of: 

    • MCSE, VCP, CCE, CCNP, CCNA, HPE ACE, HP, DELL, VMWare, VEAAM

    Minimum Qualification - Tertiary IT qualification
    Relevant Experience 

    Minimum 5+ years’ experience supporting ICT environments.

    • Good understanding of ITC environment (Network, Compute, Orchestration, Application, Cloud, Security and End User Computing)
    • Ability to identify and understand problems, and find suitable solutions
    • Conscious of delivering solutions on time
    • Ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions with the technical team
    • Self-managed
